About the Barley House Band

“Irish roots, American branches” is the Barley House Band’s motto. The Celtic band, based in the Quad-Cities, plays traditional Irish and Scottish music flavored with influences from the Midwestern heartland.

The Barley House Band performs at a variety of venues, including festivals, concerts, dances, weddings and wakes.

The band is house orchestra for the Bucktown Revue, a monthly program of roots music, humor and storytelling presented at the Nighswander Junior Theater, 2822 Eastern Ave., Davenport, at 7 p.m. the third Friday of each month, September through May. General admission is $12 and available at the door
